As an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and a passionate advocate for ecological design, I, Timo Bega, dedicate my practice to exploring potential symbiotic relationships between human-made production environments and natural processes. Projects such as ""Moulds in Soil!" demonstrate my commitment to using regenerative materials such as mycelium not just to minimize environmental impact but to actively improve ecological health. This project, among others, represents for me a step towards a new niche in design—one where the outcome is potentially as beneficial to earth as it is to the creator.
